They came to America leaving their homeland, their parents and all of their loved ones behind. They came for a new beginning they came for a dream. Yes a dream! they did it not just for themselves, but for the family, your family, my family and all of our families.

The tremendous sacrifices they made in those early years so that we might have a better way of life cannot ever be forgotten. As we gather our families together each year to share our love for one another and to celebrate the heritage of our great family, we must not lose sight of not only the ream, but also of the responsibility that comes with it. We must aspire to make a commitment to carry on the dream for all of our loved ones who have gone on before us and for all the generations to come.

We must all strive to preserve our family traditions and continue to unify and bond our two families together. It is now our responsibility to pass our heritage on to our children so that they may do the same for their children. Only then will the dream be complete. our families will continue to grow and become larger, closer and stronger. For it is truly said that families are forever.
